He also serves on the Department of Marketing Advisory Council at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.

Courtney is a seasoned brand strategist and creative director, with extensive experience in branding, digital media, and multi-channel marketing. Previously, she led brand strategy and creative execution for the Better Business Bureau, spearheading the creative vision for BBB’s brand, ensuring consistency across email, direct mail, advertising, and web platforms.

  • Co-created a comprehensive BBB brand book to ensure identity consistency and minimize brand risks across North America, complete with swatch books, accessibility tools, and video production resources.

  • Creative expertise in print and digital design, video production, traditional media advertising, and web development, with a strong ability to integrate cross-platform solutions that enhance visual storytelling and brand presence.

Nolan Czaja
Marketing Coordinator

Digital Strategy, Brand Development & Growth Marketing

Nolan is a marketing and brand strategist with experience across digital marketing, internal communications and brand strategy. In his previous role at Karmanos Cancer Institute, Nolan led internal communications and supported major marketing initiatives, including large-scale campaigns in partnership with the Detroit Tigers, promoting clear and consistent messaging across email, web, social and organizational channels.

  • Served as a marketing and fan engagement intern with the MSU Athletic Department, getting first-hand experience in one of the nation’s top collegiate athletic departments.

  • Spent time as a marketing and fan engagement intern with the Lansing Lugnuts, the minor-league affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, rounding out his sports background with both professional and collegiate experience.

  • Brings a creative foundation shaped by unique accomplishments, such as winning a design competition that gave him the opportunity to create officially-licensed Michigan State apparel.
